Bigtruck, a Lake Tahoe-based lifestyle brand knows for its headwear, unveiled a collaboration with multiple World Cup Slalom Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin.
Known for her tireless work ethic and positive attitude, Shiffrin made her World Cup debut at 15. The hats feature a custom Barilla patch and signature label with Bigtruck’s brand ID.
“We are thrilled to be working with Mikaela on her own collection,” said Bigtruck General Manager Bill Sinoff. “Everyone knows she is a supremely talented skier and athlete but what they probably don’t know is her art and design skills are equally impressive. The preliminary sketches she sent were amazing. It has been a true pleasure getting to work with her on the collection and we are excited to see where it leads to in the future.”
Fresh off her third consecutive Slalom World Championship victory, Shiffrin will be wearing both of her designs during the North American World Cup stops at Squaw Valley USA and Aspen for the Finals.
