Hi-Tec Sports has appointed David Goulding as Managing Director of its UK subsidiary. Goulding will be replacing Brian Chambers who is retiring after 18 years of loyal service to the brand.With over 20 years of experience within the footwear industry, Goulding joins from the Pentland Group where he worked as Senior Vice President for Kickers International. He has also held Directorship positions for Caterpillar and Fila UK.
Goulding said, “Hi-Tec is a well-established British brand with over 30 years of footwear experience and industry knowledge. My immediate objective is to reinforce our brand image by ensuring brand consistencies and constant innovation by maintaining our brand and product values, which are in line with our global strategy.”
“I am also determined to grow our business by working with our current existing portfolio of clients and attracting new channels of distribution with the help of extensive research, strategic marketing campaigns, new product development and working with the current structure whose loyalty and expertise will be a major ingredient in our long term success,” He concluded.
