Keen Inc. added Zeppelin Zeerip, a filmmaker and professional snowboarder, to its ambassador program.
Zeerip brings a multi-dimensional talent to Keen. He has a knack for artistic storytelling that transcends his professional snowboarding career, and he was selected to participate in SHIFT’s Emerging Leaders Program in 2016.
“We are excited to add Zeppelin to the Keen ambassador program,” said Jess Weinstein, senior manager, global ambassador marketing, Keen. “He has a work ethic and artful approach to storytelling that makes working with him so refreshing. We can’t wait to roll up our sleeves and tell engaging stories that align with both Keen and Zeppelin’s values.”
Whether he is riding in front of the camera for snowboarding sponsors or behind it while making character-driven films, Zeppelin Zeerip adds a creative, compassionate and talented layer to the Keen Ambassador program.
“I’m so stoked to join Keen because I am a fan of the products and I’m also in awe of the people and the mission at Keen,” said Zeerip. “From protecting public lands to contributing to disaster relief efforts, Keen has proven time and again to be good stewards of the earth. I look forward to collaborating with Keen in creative ways.”
Riding for snowboard brands like Nitro Snowboarding Company and Zeal Optics, Zeerip, 25, originally from Sparta, MI and currently residing in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a producer and partner at WZRD Media where he co-produced “Far From Home,” a feature-length documentary that was an official selection at the Boulder International Film Festival and Santa Barbara International Film Festival, among others, and “Fly High, Go Far,” an honest and candid portrait of the Zeerip family’s resiliency.
