Deckers has appointed Tracey Nelson to the newly created position of Vice President of Corporate Licensing. In her new role as Vice President of Corporate Licensing, Ms. Nelson will be responsible for the licensing of Deckers' Teva, UGG and Simple brands to complementary products outside of footwear. She will manage the five existing Teva domestic licenses for men's sportswear, timepieces, eyewear, headwear and socks, as well as the two existing UGG domestic licenses for handbags and outerwear. In addition, she will coordinate the pursuit of additional licensing opportunities for all of our brands in the United States and abroad.
Tracey Nelson joins Deckers from Fila/Sports Brands International where she most recently served as Global Leader – Licensing and where her responsibilities included managing and expanding Fila's licensed product business by exploring opportunities both in the United States and overseas. Previously, she held several other key licensing and marketing positions, including Vice President – Corporate Licensing for the Nine West Group, Senior Director – Domestic Licensing at Polo/Ralph Lauren Corporation, and Vice President – Corporate Marketing for Echo Design Group.
