TYR Sport unveiled a partnership with British Swimming— the national governing body for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, water polo and open water in Great Britain.
In a contract that begins January 1, 2017, TYR Sport will be the official product supplier of all aquatic disciplines within the British Swimming Federation, as well as the home nation governing bodies of the Amateur Swimming Association, Scottish Amateur Swimming Association and Welsh Amateur Swimming Association.
From grassroots and Learn to Swim programs to elite level competitions, British Swimming facilitates opportunities for athletes to grow and develop to the best of their abilities. TYR’s endorsement of British Swimming comes only a few short months after a truly remarkable summer of athlete performances in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With six medals the swimming program achieved its best results in over 100 years.
“We look forward to working together as we begin our journey toward the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games,” said British Swimming Chairman Maurice Watkins CBE. “As we continue our pursuit of being one of the world’s strongest nations in aquatic sports, we are confident that TYR will exist as a strong and useful partner.”
