Global Brand Marketing, Inc. has promoted Robert Mangione to Vice President of U.S. Sales. In his new position, Mangione will oversee all aspects of US sales operations for Nautica Footwear and will be based at company headquarters in Santa Barbara, Calif.

As Vice President of US Sales, Mangione will be responsible for developing and executing the US Sales strategy of the Nautica Footwear brand and will oversee the entire US sales representatives team. Mangione joined GBMI in March 2003 as National Sales Manager of Mecca Footwear. Mangione has held several senior level sales positions throughout much of his career, most recently as Vice President of Sales at Benetton Sport System, USA and Stride Rite Corporation in both the Sperry Topsider and Tommy Hilfiger athletic divisions, as well as long tenures at Adidas, Converse, Avia, and Prince.
