Stio, a Jackson Hole, WY-based mountain apparel brand, will open a new Stio “Mountain Studio” retail shop in Teton Village this holiday season.
The new store, opening December 2016, will be located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, in the Hotel Terra complex, just steps from the resort’s iconic tram, officials said.
“The new Stio Mountain Studio marks an important milestone for Stio and demonstrates our commitment to deepening our roots here in Stio’s backyard,” stated CEO and Founder Stephen Sullivan. “The new location is ideal – right at the base of the iconic mountain where we put our product to the test. We look forward to this Mountain Studio becoming a hub for local and visiting customers alike.”
The 650-square foot space has been completely renovated to reflect Stio’s unique, modern mountain aesthetic and will carry Stio’s complete Fall/Winter 2016/17 collection. Periodic on-mountain product testing will be available to local athletes and visitors, continuing Stio’s efforts to collaborate with customers on the design and construction of its apparel.
The store will also feature products from peer outdoor brands, including Pistil, Hestra, Scarpa, Smith, Croakies, and Sunski.
