Everlast® Worldwide Inc. has announced the appointment of Mark Ackereizen, Teddy Atlas, James McGuire Jr. and Jeffrey Schwartz to its Board effective April 16, 2004. With the addition of Messrs. Ackereizen, Atlas, McGuire and Schwartz, Everlast's Board now includes 11 directors, six of whom are independent in accordance with the requirements of the Nasdaq Stock Market.
Mr. Ackereizen has been in the field of accounting and taxation for over 38 years and is a CPA and a partner in a firm specializing in accounting and taxation. Mr. Atlas has been associated with boxing and the boxing industry for well over 30 years as a fighter, trainer and television color commentator. Mr. McGuire and Mr. Schwartz are practicing attorneys for over 35 years with law firms that have expertise in government, real estate and commercial litigation, among other types of law.
