The Timberland Company announced the appointment of Carol Yang as Vice President of Global Marketing. In her new role, Carol will be responsible for directing overall brand strategy and marketing communications for the Timberland brand worldwide. She will report to Ken Pucker, Timberland's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
“Carol is a proven marketing leader with a broad business orientation as well as a commitment to the values of a socially responsible company,” said Ken. “Over the past year she has made an enormous contribution as Timberland's Director of Marketing, Asia Pacific, and I look forward to her continued leadership with our global marketing team.”
Prior to joining Timberland, Carol spent two years with American President Lines (APL), the world's 5th largest shipping company, as Vice President, Global Marketing. Before APL, Carol held a variety of both regional and global marketing positions over a 13-year time span with Procter & Gamble in Asia.
Carol received an Honors degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. She will be relocating to the Stratham, NH area this summer.
