Sportsman’s Warehouse (NASDAQ:SPWH) has scheduled grand openings for its newest stores in California and Arizona for Thursday.
The stores, located in Fairfield, CA and Avondale, AZ, will mark the seventh stores opened by the company in each state. Midvale, UT-based Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings Inc. operates most of its stores in the western United States, but announced plans to open its first stores in North Carolina and West Virginia last month.
The California store is located at 1590 Gateway Blvd. in Fairfield, while the Arizona store is located at 10145 W McDowell Road in Avondale, AZ. Sportsman’s Warehouse now operates 75 retail locations in 20 states across the country.
“California is a wonderful state with a high number of outdoor enthusiasts and numerous areas to recreate. We are excited to expand our presence in California with this location,” noted John Schaefer, Sportsman’s Warehouse CEO. “The addition of this store keeps with our business plan, promoting stable growth that will benefit our company, our vendors, and most importantly, our loyal customers for many years to come.”
