Peter Novak, vice president of sales for Mountainsmith, announced the appointment of the Pinnacle Outdoor Group, including Bob Bruce and Hal Ellms as principal representatives, for the company's New England territory. Effective immediately, Bob and Hal will oversee Mountainsmith's sales and marketing efforts in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
Bruce and Ellms bring many years of outdoor and snow industry experience to the table. They formed the Pinnacle Outdoor Group in 2003 to formalize their partnership of nine years. In addition to Mountainsmith, they represent several other strong national brands including Vasque Footwear, Atlas Snowshoe Company, and CROCS Footwear. Their background crosses many boundaries including buying, retailing, and sales management. They will continue to build Mountainsmith's specialty shop business in the territory by promoting targeted product assortments and providing exceptional service.

Bob will be headquartered in Falmouth, Maine and Hal in North Middlesex, Vermont.
