Kammok, an Austin, TX-based outdoor hammock and sleeping bag brand, promoted its COO Haley Robison to CEO.
Kammok Founder Greg McEvilly will shift from his former CEO role to serve as chairman of the board and continue in an operational capacity as chief inspiration officer.
“Haley’s enthusiasm and passion for giving adventure continues to inspire, and her operational expertise has fueled Kammok’s impressive growth,” McEvilly said. “We feel fortunate to have such a capable and well-respected leader on our team, and believe Haley to be the ideal candidate to take Kammok to new heights.”
Robison holds a master’s degree in business administration and education from Stanford University and previously represented Summer Search, a national non-profit that works to provide educational and leadership opportunities for at-risk youth.
“We are excited about this next season of growth,” Robison said. “Our team is motivated to take on new opportunities in product design, customer experience and community partnerships. It is an incredible privilege to pursue Kammok’s mission with this committed, powerhouse team – and to be building a brand in our hometown of Austin, Texas.”
McEvilly will continue to work for Kammok on a daily basis, though his responsibilities as chief inspiration officer will differ, officials said. “New focus will be placed on brand evangelism, product design, business development, and long-term brand architecture.
