Dick’S Sporting Goods announced on July 26, 2016 that it will be opening its 13th store in Wisconsin and 652nd store nationwide on Friday, August 12 in Wausau, WI.
Dick’s three-day Grand Opening celebration will run through Sunday, August 14. The store will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday.
On Friday, the first 100 people in line will receive a free Reebok Play Dry T-Shirt. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will get a chance to open the Dick’s Sporting Goods Gift Locker.
Former Green Bay Safety and inventor of the Lambeau Leap, LeRoy Butler, will appear in-store on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Former Green Bay running back Ahman Green will make an in-store appearance on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday giveaways include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the Dick’s Sporting Goods Gift Locker.
