Fitness industry veteran Lu Rasmussen has joined Precor in
the newly created position of Director of Leasing. according to Precor VP of Commercial Sales Chris Torggler, Rasmussen has a directive to launch an ongoing, comprehensive leasing program that strengthens the total product offered by Precor and its dealers.
“Financing's importance in fitness facility purchasing decisions
continues
to rise. The marketplace is very competitive from an equipment
perspective,
and the financing package can make a critical difference. Lu will be
central in formulating and delivering the best service and most complete
financing package available,” said Torggler.
An 18-year fitness industry veteran, Rasmussen most recently was in a
leasing management role with Life Fitness. Prior to that, he was in
fitness
equipment sales with Life Fitness and Star Trac, and for 12 years was
general manager of a health and fitness facility. He has been a faculty
member of L.D.S. Business College, specializing in recreation industry
business and financial management.
Rasmussen holds a degree in finance and business management from the
University of Utah, where he continues to work toward an MBA degree.
