Sport Chalet, Inc. is celebrating the grand opening of its new 42,500 sq. ft. store, including an on-site pool, at the Slatten Ranch shopping center, in the city of Antioch, California. This is the company's 30th location.
A grand opening celebration and sale is scheduled for Friday, November 28th through Sunday, November 30th. On Friday and Saturday, radio stations KATM, KTCT, and KUIC will be making appearances and giving away prizes. Fishing seminars will be taking place Saturday and Sunday, presented by top manufacturers including Shimano, Penn, and Spro. Additionally, Sport Chalet is raffling off hundreds of prizes throughout the entire weekend.
The opening of the Slatten Ranch location will mark Sport Chalet's introduction to Northern California. The Company's expansion in Northern California will continue next month with the opening of a 42,000 sq. ft. store located in the city of Sacramento at Country Club Plaza. Next year, Sport Chalet will continue its expansion into Northern California with new locations in the Sacramento area communities of Roseville and Elk Grove.
