Club Ride Apparel has restructured its sales force from independent to factory reps in many areas of the country in a bid to get its casual-performance cycling clothing in front of more consumers and active lifestyle stores.

The new model will enable CSA to go from attending a handful of events in each territory to participating in 50 grassroots events nationwide, said Mike Herlinger, founder of Club Ride Apparel, or CRA.

“From developing our core and active-lifestyle collections, expanding into new categories, and growing our sales force, it is important that we keep Club Ride’s authenticity present in everything we do,” Herlinger said.
Club Ride has hired four new ‘Regional Territory Managers’ that will be outfitted with CRA-branded sprinter vans to showcase the company’s current and upcoming collections.

The program launches June 1st and will be rolled out across 4 regions – Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific. The greater Rocky Mountain region will continue to be represented by the Ptarmigan Group (for bicycle specialty accounts), Green River Sales (for outdoor specialty accounts), Velo Persona Sales in Arizona & Southern NV, and Unique Cycle Sales in UT & WY.

“Our retail partners have helped build the Club Ride brand from day one,” said Josh Fonner, Director of Sales at Club Ride. “This strategy is about increasing the support structure for our retailers, turning up the volume on our local marketing efforts, and doing on-site retail merchandising development. We are thankful for everything our retailers have done for us in the last seven years, and there are more great things to come.”

From its headquarters in Sun Valley, Ida, Club Ride designs apparel that can be used by cyclists  on their favorite trail, the open road, a cruise around town, an evening at the local pub or just a day at the office.
