Mountain Hardwear announced the addition this summer of Steve Adams and Eric Betz as Outerwear and Equipment Product Line Managers, respectively.
Adams joins the team with a breadth of experience in the outdoor and action sports industries. Most recently he was Senior Product Line Manager for winter sports at Quiksilver.
“I’m thrilled to join a brand that has such a rich history in pioneering the limits of design and technology in the outerwear market. Plus, I get to collaborate with some of the most talented individuals in the industry,” said Adams. “I’m ready to keep pushing the Mountain Hardwear program, taking it to the next level and turning the market upside down.”
Betz comes to Mountain Hardwear with an extensive merchandising background. Most recently, he served as Merchandise Manager for Ski, Snowboard and Outdoor Hardgoods at Any Mountain and Vail Resorts. Prior to that, he was Outerwear Product Developer at Marmot.
“I’ve always been a fan of Mountain Hardwear and I’m enormously energized about working with such a great group of talented and passionate individuals,” said Betz. “With my background at the retail level, I’m committed to the consumer and I look forward to strengthening the consumers’ commitment to Mountain Hardwear.”
