USA Climbing, the United States National Governing Body for the sport of competition climbing, has begun phasing over to its new website, usaclimbing.org.
“Much like last year’s rebranding effort, a new website has been at the top of our “to-do list” for many years,” said USA Climbing CEO Kynan Waggoner. “Due to the support of a very generous donor and a long relationship with the folks at the Active Network, we now have a website and technology platform that is going to support our needs now and in the future.”
During the transition period, USA Climbing will be running and testing the new website while continuing to run the old website at usaclimbing.net. as it works through potential bugs. All pertinent data will continue to be posted to both websites during the transition period.
Users with specific feedback about the new website, are asked to email info@usaclimbing.org with their thoughts.
As of September 1, 2015, USA Climbing has also opened Membership registration for the 2015-2016 competitive season. USA Climbing Memberships are valid from September 1 through August 31, so all prior memberships are now expired.
Based in Boulder, CO, USA Climbing is the United States National Governing Body for the sport of competition climbing. The organization manages the disciplines of Bouldering, Speed, and Sport climbing as well as the Collegiate and Adaptive series.
