FanBuzz will develop and operate the official on-line store for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team, the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced. The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Store will provide fans with the opportunity to purchase team merchandise at http://shop.ussa.org.
Fans visiting the official on-line store will have access to a broad selection of licensed products, including apparel, caps, blankets, collectibles, and performance outerwear. Proceeds from sales will help America's Olympic ski and snowboard hopefuls train, compete and reach their goal of “Best in the World!” at the 2006 Olympics in Torino.
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team on-line store also will utilize CustomFan, the proprietary design-your-own solution pioneered by FanBuzz. Unveiled in 2001, CustomFan is the industry's first mass customization solution, which allows licensed apparel to be produced on demand to the preferences of the individual consumer. FanBuzz is licensed to produce CustomFan products by over 96 colleges and universities, the National Hockey League and USA Basketball.
