The Coleman Company Inc. has applied for additional production authority for its facility in Sauk Rapids, MN, where it produces personal flotation devices and cushions, according to the International Trade Commission.

Coleman seeks to remove a restriction under its current permit which was issued in March 2015 and precludes inverted tariff benefits on foreign textile fabrics and cases/bags of textile materials used in the production of personal flotation devices and cushions for U.S. consumption. The request also seeks to add several new components to Coleman’s scope of authority. Comments on this request are due no later than Oct. 16.
