DAKINE announces its entrance into the 2003 Interbike Trade Show taking place October 12-14, 2003 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the first time in the companys history, DAKINE will showcase
its expanded Spring/Summer 04 line-up of bike-related products at the premier outdoor bike show.
“We are allocating even more resources and efforts to provide the bike market with the absolute best products we can,” says Chico Bukovansky, National Sales Manager for DAKINE. “By showing at Interbike, we are solidifying our commitment to the bike market and are expanding in a
category that weve always shown passion towards.”
In addition to making its first appearance at Interbike, DAKINE will be the “official hydration pack” sponsor of Interbikes Outdoor Demo taking place October 10-11th in Boulder City, Nevada. During the two-day event,retailers will be able to test a wide range of items from DAKINEs 2004 product line-up including hydration packs and gloves. DAKINEs booth will also provide an ideal location for retailers to interact with the DAKINE
crew and find out about the companys product first-hand.
DAKINEs commitment to bike also extends through its sponsorship of a progressive team of pioneering freeriders including Andrew Shandro, Wade Simmons, Thomas Vanderham, Richie Schley and Dave Watson.
DAKINEs passion for bike began more than four years ago with the introduction of a hydration pack series that quickly became popular in other outdoor and action sports. Through the years, DAKINEs experience and knowledge in the winter market led them to develop gloves designed specifically for mountain biking as well as a variety of other bike and travel accessories. More recently, in an effort to perfect its reservoir system, DAKINE partnered with TFO, a division of Nalgene Outdoor Products, to develop a new and improved reservoir that is now the standard for its line of successful hydration packs.
