Wilson Racquet Sports announces a territory change for Chris Merrill, and a new Territory Manager in Atlanta, Jim Haneklau.
Chris Merrill, a Wilson rep for five years in Atlanta is moving back to the Los Angeles area to take over the territory left by Chris Hefter. Merrill is originally from Southern California, he played tennis for California State University at Long Beach, and is looking forward to returning. His territory will include Los Angeles county and north to Santa Barbara.
Taking Merrills place is Jim Haneklau. Haneklau has been in the industry for over 15 years, working for Penn and most recently as a sales representative for Prince in Atlanta. Haneklaus territory will include most of Alabama as well as Georgia.
“This is another step toward strengthening our sales organization with the best people in the tennis industry and further distancing ourselves from the competition,” said Charlie Osborn, Director of National Sales.
