Four sporting goods manufacturers have received $150,000 each through the Mission Main Street Grants program, which is supported by Chase and Google.
In addition to winning a $150,000 grant from Chase, the winners have an opportunity to attend exclusive workshiops with Google, win a Google portable computers and a $2,000 gift certificate toward Google Consumer surveys.
Winners for 2014 include:
- Bill Lewis Outdoors, Alexandria, VA. Manufactures and distributes fishing lures and bobbers.
- Fortified Bicycle, Inc., Boston, MA. Makes lights and other bike safety gear urban cyclists.
- Kota Longboards LLC, Denver, CO. Designs and manufactures handcrafted longboard skateboards from hard rock maple with a proprietary grip finish that eliminates the need for grip tape.
- Titan Paddles LLC, Sunrise, FL. Designs and hand-crafts a strong and durable yet lightweight paddle for paddleboarding enthusiasts ranging from entry-level to world record-holders.
