MonkeySports, the big box retailer of hockey, lacrosse and baseball/softball equipment, opened its first location in Greenwood Village, CO; a 30 minute drive from Denver. The 15,125-square-foot superstore opened at 6578 S. Yosemite Circle in Greenwood Village.
“Colorado's sport enthusiasts have historically been underserved,” said Tom Arnold, CFO, principal and partner at MonkeySports. “Strong online sales and high demand highlighted the need for a brick and mortar location in the market.”
MonkeySports also this fall opened a store in Derry, NH. In total, MonkeySports now operates seven stores, including others in Irvine, CA; Santa Ana, CA; Norwood, MA; Woodbridge, NJ; and Södertälje, Sweden.
