Spalding named Kenyatta Bynoe senior director of marketing. In her new position Bynoe will direct the strategic planning, production and campaign execution of all integrated marketing communications. She will oversee the development of all creative content and manage the day-to-day partnership and mutual contractual fulfillment with the NBA League Office and all NBA teams and affiliated leagues (WNBA/D-League) to amplify brand exposure and sales opportunities.
Bynoe replaces Wendy Unger-Moore who has taken a position overseas with Fruit of the Loom, parent company of Russell Brands, LLC, the owner of the Spalding(R) brand..
Bynoe will also manage the creative, sales and operational aspects of the NBA/In-Arena decorated products and premium sales divisions to increase profitability and activate the retail promotions budget to maximize sales during key selling seasons.

Bynoe most recently held the position of Senior Brand Advertising Manager for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) where she managed the development of marketing strategy and the oversight of advertising content production including TV, print and digital executions as well as marketing partnerships such as USA Basketball for the Jeep Brand. She joined FCA in 2010. In her more than 15 years of progressively responsible marketing experience, Ms. Bynoe has held a variety of marketing communication roles.
As Senior Lifestyle Marketing Manager for Microsoft Corporation, Bynoe managed strategic alliances with sports and music marketing partners as well as directed experiential marketing and social media activity.
Throughout her career she has developed advertising campaigns which have ranked in the top 5 on the USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter as well as achieved Effie Awards for marketing effectiveness. She was also named to the Event Marketer “Dream Team” in recognition of innovative experiential marketing programs.
Bynoe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and sociology from Central Michigan University and Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
