SealSkinz, a U.K.-based maker of waterproof, windproof and breathable accessories for the hands, feet and head, launched a new U.S. website to promote its new look for fall 2014 and leverage its recent investments in social media and a U.S. ambassador program.

The new website, www.sealskinz.com/us,  was designed in keeping with their new branding and features a darker, more powerful aesthetic. In addition to the new look and feel, the website features updated information on the company and new product technology.

The follows the launch of the brand’s U.S. ambassador program. New ambassadors include Category One cyclocross racer, Brian Lariviere, record-setting speed hiker, Adam Bradley, and long-distance paddler, Deb Walters among others.

“We have a history of working with top athletes who compete and play in the harshest of conditions,” says Global Marketing Director David Jesson. “We are proud to partner with US athletes in a range of sports to give them a leading edge on the weather and on the competition.“

SealSkinz ambassadors are featured on the new website and as guest authors on the SealSkinz blog. With the growth of their US social media following, fans of the brand are able to follow the adventures of these athletes, often in real-time.  More information on the ambassador program and athlete bios can be found at www.sealskinz.com/ambassadors.

Sealskinz is based in Norfolk, England, where it manufactures over 50 percent of its our product range by hand.
