Shoe Carnival announced the appointment of Kent A. Kleeberger to its Board of Directors. He will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
Mr. Kleeberger, 51 years old, is the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Too, Inc., a fashion apparel retailer catering to young girls. He has been a member of the Too, Inc. Board of Directors since February 2000. Mr. Kleeberger joined Too, Inc. in March 1998 following a 10-year career with The Limited, Inc. where he held the positions of Vice President – Controller of Victoria’s Secret Catalog and Corporate Controller of The Limited, Inc. Prior to joining The Limited, Inc., Mr. Kleeberger spent 13 years with a national public accounting firm.
J. Wayne Weaver, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, commented “Kent Kleeberger’s financial and operational experience with growth retailers makes him an important addition to our Board.
