Product Architects Inc and Headsweats were among the brands that helped raise $75,000 for flood relief efforts in Jamestown, CO. through their support of the one-day Cyclists 4 Jamestown bicycle ride and fundraiser.
Jamestown, located just north of the city of Boulder, is a popular local cycling destination and one of the areas hit hardest by the recent Colorado flooding. The Cyclists for Jamestown group was formed post-flood to organize volunteers and help raise money to assist in relief efforts.
“It is awesome to see the cycling community come together to help out this community,” Bash said. “On Saturday, we had people donating two to three times more than we were selling the bottles for.”
Along with the more than $800 sent to the Jamestown group today, Polar Bottle has helped raise more than $500 for general flood relief efforts thanks to an online promotion rewarding customers who donate to relief efforts with a free Colorado flag water bottle (a $14.99 value).
Other local flood relief groups who need donations or volunteers are encouraged to contact company representatives by emailing adeline@polarbottle.com.
