Tubbs Snowshoes, the maker of snowshoes and snowshoe outreach, announced the second season of its ambassador program, with new faces and personalities sharing snowshoeing experiences from unique perspectives across North America.

The company said an essay contest it ran throughout the month of May offered applicants the opportunity to win new Tubbs snowshoes and contribute to the Tubbs team in the 2013-14 winter season.

“We saw a great response to the Tubbs Ambassador Program last winter, and wanted to build on that momentum,” said Kelsey Boyce, Tubbs’ Marketing Coordinator. “The program gives the snowshoeing community a resource where they can get information on the best places to go, snowshoe events and gear.”

Ambassadors represent each category of the brand’s offering: day hiking, backcountry, trail walking, and family-focused snowshoeing. Providing content for Tubbs’ social channels and blog, each member of the ambassador team will post monthly trip highlights and fun photos from their snowy adventures.

Ambassadors will also contribute to new product development concepts and attend regional Tubbs-sponsored events such as the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series.
