Yakima Products, Inc. has joined fellow U.S. brands SRAM and Specialized as initial corporate partners of International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Europe.

As its first and only cargo management corporate partner, Yakima will be IMBA Europe’s exclusive bike rack supplier. The company will also contribute to IMBA’s Development Fund and sponsor European trail building schools.

IMBA Europe was founded in 2012 with the mission to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers across Europe.

“IMBA Europe is very happy to welcome Yakima as our new official partner,” said IMBA Europe Director Mark Torsius. “Yakima knows the importance of mountain bike advocacy, sustainable trail building and volunteer stewardship, and we are honored that they want to invest in a long-term relationship with us. IMBA Europe and Yakima have the same goal: to create and safeguard great trail experiences for all those people who just love to ride their bike and want to share those great moments with each other.”

“This is the perfect partnership for Yakima as our company expands its reach in Europe,” said European Brand Director Eric Roesinger. “We are a long-time partner of IMBA in the United States, and we’re excited to now help launch and grow IMBA Europe and support their efforts to build more sustainable trail systems and promote mountain biking with friends and family across Europe. We look forward to a long and productive partnership.”

Yakima Products, Inc. is currently expanding its international presence with a global distribution network and now has offices in the Netherlands and Australia.
