Global Brand Marketing, Inc., owner of Pony International and Dry-shoD, and global footwear licensee for Diesel, XOXO, Nautica and Mecca, has named John Lewis as Vice President of Marketing for GBMI. Mr. Lewis will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of global marketing and advertising operations and will be working out of the corporate offices in Santa Barbara.
Lewis has held several senior level marketing positions throughout his career and specializes in brand management, new product introductions, and project management. Lewis joins GBMI from Nike, Inc. where he was Senior Advertising Manager at Nike, Inc. and also had a stint at the Bauer Nike Hockey division. Previously, Lewis also served as Marketing Director of Burton Snowboards and Vice President of Marketing at Talking Drum, Inc. He has also worked at several major advertising agencies such as Grey Advertising and DArcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Inc.
