The Finish Line, Inc. announced the promotion of two new senior vice presidents. Michael J. Smith, age 45, has been named Senior Vice President-Loss Prevention. Mr. Timothy R. Geis, age 42, has been named Senior Vice President- Footwear.
Mr. Smith joined Finish Line in October, 1998 as Director of Loss Prevention. From March 2000 to April 2003, Mr. Smith held the position of Vice President-Loss Prevention. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Smith was employed by Mercantile South Department Stores in Mobile, Alabama from 1992 thru 1998.
Mr. Geis joined Finish Line in October 1995 as a footwear buyer. From November 1996 to April 2001, Mr. Geis held the position of Divisional Merchandise Manager of Footwear. From April 2001 until present, Mr. Geis held the position of Vice President-Footwear. Prior to Finish Line, Mr. Geis was employed as a footwear buyer for Champs Sports, a division of Footlocker, Inc.
