Global Brand Marketing, Inc. has announced the appointment of Robert Mangione as National Sales Manager for Mecca Footwear. Mr. Mangione joins GBMI with over 15 years of marketing and sales management experience in the athletic footwear arena with positions at Adidas, Reebok, Converse, Avia, Prince, and Apex, as well as casual footwear companies Sperry Topsider and Tommy Hilfiger.
Most recently, Mr. Mangione was Vice President of Sales for Benetton Sport System, where he headed up three leading performance brands comprised of Prince Tennis, Nordica Ski and Rollerblade In-Line. Previously, Mr. Mangione was Vice President of Sales for Sperry and prior to that was Vice President Brand Development at Tommy Hilfiger Athletic.
