Shock Doctor has expanded to the Middle East and a growing number of African countries, including Sub Saharan, Africa through distributor deals with Lion Fish and Xanamed respectively.

Lion Fish just signed a deal to be the official distributor of Shock Doctor products to the Middle East, including United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Shock Doctor selected Lion Fish because their experience and contacts make them a preferred partner of global brands in the region and will go a long way to establishing Shock Doctor in the market.

Xanamed (www.xanamed.co.za), a key logistical distributor for Shock Doctor for South Africa, will now take responsibility for supplying all Sub-Saharan countries of Africa as well. These partnerships come on the heels of Shock Doctor’s commitment to open a warehouse in Rotterdam, Netherlands in order to handle the European shipping requests. The warehouse is slated to open in June 2012.

“The Shock Doctor brand is growing up,” says Tony Armand, Shock Doctor CEO. “As the number one mouthguard company in the world and with our expanding lines of sports protection, it is our goal to continue to grow internationally, with a huge push for an expanded presence in countries worldwide over the next three years.”

Newly appointed Shock Doctor General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Paul Rutherford says this about Shock Doctor’s global expansion, “Athletes of all levels deserve to have the best sports protection available to them, no matter where they live in the world.”
