Puma and VF Corp are among the bidders for Helly Hansen AB, according to a report in the U.K.'s Sunday Times. The Norwegian clothing company was put up for sale last month. Sources told the newspaper that Helly Hansen the could fetch 200 million pounds ($312 million).

Potential suitors for Helly Hansen are also said to include private equity giants Carlyle and Blackstone.

Helly Hansen has been owned by Altor Equity Partners since 2006. It was formerly owned by Investcorp. It has around 470 employees worldwide is its 2010 revenues are 170 million euros ($220m).
