Italian footwear maker Asolo disclosed that it changed its U.S. reps in four territories last November after existing reps would not adapt to changesrequested by the company.
“In May 2011, we initiated changes to support everyone that is associated with the Asolo brand. Moving forward several of our reps decided to not make these necessary changes with us. We appreciate their service. They have seen us through some difficult transitions and we wish them well in the future.
“For the new rep force we are excited to announce that Steve Rogerson will represent Asolo in the Mid-Atlantic territory. Granite Marketing, principle Steve Copeland will represent the Rockies region with Marvin Wedell and Mike McCord. Rick Stoner and Scott Andrew’s group will represent the six states of New England. Their team is rounded out with Scott Byrne, Allison Frazier and Adam St. Germain.
We are honored and pleased to have all three-rep organizations working with Asolo. We feel we have seasoned reps with footwear experience at retail and or wholesale in all territories. With a net gain of four additional people in the three territories we will be able to deliver enhanced service to our customers. All three agencies are working on servicing spring 2012 and preseason-sell in for fall 2012 effective immediately. Please contact Asolo USA if you have questions or issues we need to address during this transition period.”
