Bakers Footwear Group, Inc. reported sales for the third quarter were $40.2 million, decreasing 0.9 percent from $40.6 million a year ago. Comparable store sales increased 1.0 percent, compared to a comparable
store sales increase of 5.9% for the third quarter of fiscal 2010.
For the first nine months ended Oct. 29, sales were $131.5 million, increasing 3.2 percent from $127.4 million in the first nine months ended October 30, 2010. Comparable store sales for the first nine months of fiscal 2011 increased 5.1 percent, compared to an increase of 1.3 percent in the first nine months of fiscal 2010.
