City Sports plans to open its eighth store in the Boston area in Wellesley in September. Its third store in the Philadelphia market will be open in Wayne in late summer.
The Wellesley store will be located at 475 Washington Street. It replaces Wellesley St. Moritz, also known as Underground Snowboard, which has closed.
Its other stores in the Boston area are located in Boston University, Back Bay, Downtown Crossing, Harvard Square, Porter Square, Chestnut Hill, and Legacy Place
The Wayne store will be located at 309 East Lancaster Ave. It also has stores in the area in Center City and Suburban Square.
City Sports also has four stores in Washington, D.C.; two in New York City. one store in Providence, RI; and one in Baltimore.
