Everlast Worldwide Inc. announced that Neil Morton, CEO, has been appointed to the SGMA Board of Directors for the 2011-2014 term.
“Neil Morton is a great addition to the SGMA Board of Directors and we are thrilled he has agreed to serve. His experience in leading Everlast and other IBML brands will provide important strategic insight to our Board deliberations.” said Tom Cove, President/CEO of the SGMA.
On March 2, 2011, Morton will join a delegation of sporting goods and fitness manufacturers, retailers, concerned citizens and well-known professional athletes including Everlast fighter and super middleweight champion of the world, Andre Ward, in Washington DC. The delegation will be in the nation's capitol lobbying Congress for approval of “Get America Moving” legislation – two initiatives developed to help all Americans become more physically fit.
