Organizers of the Health+Fitness Business Expo (HFB) announced it will follow its sister show's lead and again hold the 2011 edition of HFB with the Interbike International Bicycle Expo in Las Vegas in 2011. HFB will be held September 14-16, 2011.

This year HFB was held in a large ballroom at The Venetian Las Vegas Hotel, adjacent to the Sands Expo and Convention Center where Interbike was held. HFB hosted 92 exhibitors (an increase of nearly 30 more than last year), 1,300 buyers (compared to 380 buyers in 2009), and a total 665 unique buying businesses, compared to 200 last year. Much of this success was based on holding the show in conjunction with Interbike to capitalize on buyer crossover, so show organizers have decided to continue to hold HFB together with Interbike.

“The success of co-locating the 2010 HFB and Interbike shows demonstrated how compatible the fitness and bike industries are,” said Andy Tompkins, Health+Fitness Business and Interbike show director. “The show floor was extremely active, and we received great feedback from buyers and exhibitors about how well the show went for them. With Interbike returning to Las Vegas, it just makes sense to keep the two shows together.”

Three weeks ago Interbike announced that it was moving its show to August in Anaheim, California, for 2011 with plans that HFB would be held there as well. Based on Interbike 2010's success and feedback from the bicycle industry, Interbike decided to move its show back to Las Vegas for 2011.

Show organizers are determining how to further combine HFB and Interbike when they're hosted together again in 2011.
