Modell's Sporting Goods will give the school district in Pennsbury, PA schools gift cards this year in exchange for displaying its name on district property. The new partnership will help offset expenses for Pennsbury's athletic teams.
According to phillyburbs.com, the agreement calls for Modell's to give Pennsbury a $3,000 gift card and
a $500 gift card in the first year of the deal. The sporting goods retailer
will give the district a $2,000 gift card and a $500 gift card in each
of the subsequent years the agreement is renewed, officials said.
The signage will be displayed in Pennsbury High School's basketball
gymnasium, its baseball field and on the scoreboard at Falcon Field,
officials said. Modell's signs also will be displayed in the gymnasiums
of the district's three middle schools.
