VF Licensed Sports Group said it will align the division's sales organization along key strategic channels. The changes are designed to enable LSG to provide a focused approach to assortment planning, inventory management, replenishment and marketing based on specific channel needs.

“With these changes, our organization is aligned to bring the same channel expertise to the Sporting Goods and Internet channels that we have always provided in Mass, Mid-Tier, Concessions and Harley-Davidson,” said Jim Pisani, president VF Licensed Sports

In the new structure:

  • Ken Wood, director, national sales, will expand his responsibilities to include key sporting goods accounts.   
  • Mike Pardini, director, sales, will expand his LSG role with a focus on key Internet retailers.
  • Bob Sineni has been promoted to director, regional sales in the Midwest.        

Under the Majestic Athletic brand, the division is the official on-field uniform supplier of Major League Baseball (MLB). The VF Licensed Sports Group markets branded apparel under agreements with licensors such as the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), Harley-Davidson, the National Hockey League (NHL), NASCAR and leading colleges.
