Bass Pro Shops announced it will host a grand opening for the opening of its new store in Clifton Park, NY, on July 30, its fourth store in the state. The 70,000-square-foot space serves the greater Albany region.
A highlight of the store is its 12,000-gallon aquarium featuring freshwater fish native to the region. The store has also tailored its inventory to serve the freshwater fishermen in the area.
As is typical with Bass Pro store openings, the venue will feature an Evening for Conservation, with 20 percent of all sales during the event supporting local conservation efforts.
Founded in 1972, Bass Pro has 179 retail stores throughout North America under the Bass Pro and Cabela’s nameplates. Its other New York stores are in Utica, Auburn and Cheektowaga.
