L.L.Bean has reported that it plans to open a new store in Bridgewater, its first in central New Jersey, on July 25, located in the Chimney Rock Crossing Shopping Center.

“The nearly 16,000-square-foot space brings the brand closer to its customers in the Somerset County region, making it even easier for them to find their favorite outdoor-inspired apparel and footwear. The Bridgewater store is L.L.Bean’s fourth store opening of 2025 as the company continues to expand its retail footprint,” said the company in a media release.

“We’re excited to open our fourth store in New Jersey and connect with the Bridgewater community,” said Kristen Jones, district manager for L.L.Bean. “Central Jersey is filled with great places to get outside and we’re eager to help more people enjoy the outdoors, bringing our heritage of quality, craftsmanship, service and outdoor expertise to even more Garden State residents.”

A grand opening weekend, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, will be held on Friday, July 11, with representatives from L.L.Bean, local elected officials, and YMCA partners in attendance.

L.L.Bean’s three other New Jersey stores are in  Freehold, Marlton and Paramus.

L.L.Bean currently operates 61 stores in 20 states nationwide, with 25 stores in Japan and 13 stores in Canada, in partnership with Jaytex Group.
