Oofos announced plans to open its first three stores in Pentagon City, Arlington, VA; the Mall of Georgia, Buford, GA; and the Florida Mall, Orlando, FL.

The company noted in a media release that the store openings come as the recovery footwear brand has experienced “expansive growth” since launching 14 years ago, primarily through its online direct-to-consumer platform, Amazon and wholesale network. The brand has also experienced growth in international markets, particularly in Japan.

The store openings follow a series of pop-up shops the company has opened nationwide, including along the last stretch of Boylston Street, near the Boston Marathon finish line, for the past few years. The stores will implement “key learnings from the pop-ups, provide another avenue for consumers to experience Oofos’ products and help the company gather feedback firsthand.”

“We’ve always believed in building smart, sustainable growth,” said Lou Panaccione, co-founder and CEO of Oofos. “With these new retail locations, we are starting small and being intentional with our strategy, with the goal of complementing our existing DTC and wholesale channels while also offering an additional touch-point to share our mission of helping people feel better.”
