Boutique golf club fitter, True Spec, now has a second location in partnership with The Golf Practice, True Spec Chicago West. The company also partners with The Golf Practice, a golf training academy for kids and adults, at its North Shore location in Lisle.
True Spec Chicago West features an indoor fitting bay with a Foresight GCQuad launch monitor and brand-agnostic club-fitting matrix of over 70,000 club head and shaft combinations from the major equipment manufacturers. The company builds each club to spec in its Scottsdale, AZ headquarters to meet a player’s exact requirements derived during the club fitting process.
“Year after year, Chicago continues to be a thriving market for True Spec, and we’re thrilled that our second location in the city has moved into this new space and is partnering once again with The Golf Practice,” said Ryan Richardson, president of True Spec Golf. “This impressive new facility will undoubtedly help us to better serve the Chicago golf community.”
The Golf Practice’s Lisle location opened earlier this year and is a 15,000-square-foot indoor golf training facility with 8 Trackman simulators. It is staffed by Hank Haney-certified coaches and features a St. Andrews-themed short game room with 16 different cups, a custom WellPutt putting surface, and a golf-specific gym with speed training.
“Having True Spec at both of our locations is a very natural fit because we share the same commitment to helping customers reach their goals,” said Chris Oehlerking, co-owner and dean of instruction at The Golf Practice. “The world-class club fitting that True Spec provides golfers is a great asset to have on site.”
