March 13, 2025 – Racine, WI The latest evolution in fast-boil technology is here with the Jetboil Fast Boil Stove Systems. As the leader in innovative outdoor cooking systems*, Jetboil’s updated collection is designed to enhance functionality and user experience, setting a new standard in backcountry cooking convenience.

Based on customer feedback, Jetboil identified key opportunities to enhance its flagship Fast Boil products, the Flash, Flash Java, and Zip, while preserving its innovative fast, lightweight, compact, and efficient design that adventurers rely on. The result is a reimagined Fast Boil System that is now more intuitive and easier to use than ever while maintaining Jetboil’s superior quality.

The new Fast Boil System retains all the features that have made Jetboil a trusted name in backcountry cooking, including an insulated cozy, a lid with pour and straining locations, and a bottom cover that doubles as a measuring cup or bowl. The built-in thermochromatic, color-changing heat indicator also remains a key feature on the new Flash 1.0L and Flash Java 1.0L.

A major enhancement in the Flash 1.0L and Flash Java 1.0L is the re-engineered ignition system, now seamlessly integrated into the valve control. With a simple half-turn counterclockwise, just like a home stove, users can easily ignite the burner. This new design improves reliability and enhances overall ease of use. Additionally, both models now feature a ceramic-encased igniter with stable positioning for lasting ignition. Meanwhile, the Zip 0.8L has been upgraded with an improved easy-turn valve to make it easy to light.

Another key upgrade to the Fast Boil collection is the addition of a strategically placed, textured grip zone located on the burner base. This feature makes it easy to connect the cookpot, adjust the flame, or attach the fuel canister. The Zip 0.8L includes a standard textured grip, while the Flash 1.0L and Flash Java 1.0L feature a textured and color-coded orange grip zone for added visibility. Additionally, the pot-to-burner locking mechanism has been enhanced with a three-point locking system and a visual lock indicator, making it easier to attach and remove the cookpot.

“The new Flash 1.0L, Flash Java 1.0L, and Zip 0.8L represent the next evolution of our Fast Boil Systems,” said Ally Spaight, Jetboil Senior Marketing Manager. “We’ve reimagined our flagship lineup with user-friendly features designed to make camp cooking easier and more intuitive to help backpackers, hikers, and campers fuel their adventures.”

The Flash 1.0L Fast Boil System delivers lightning-fast boil times, powered by Jetboil’s patented FluxRing Technology. Weighing only 13.1 oz, it’s the perfect companion for backpackers, campers, and adventurers who need hot meals and beverages in seconds. Built for coffee lovers on the go, the Flash Java 1.0L includes the Flash fast boil system along with a stowable Silicone Coffee Press, allowing users to enjoy premium French press coffee wherever their journey takes them. For those seeking a more compact option, the Zip 0.8L provides the same performance of the Flash 1.0L, but in a slightly lighter, more streamlined design.

Jetboil’s new Flash 1.0L, Flash Java 1.0, and Zip 0.8L stoves remain compatible with a wide range of accessories, including the Silicone Coffee Press, Hanging Kit 2.0, and the new Pot Support 2.0, which enables the use of the Summit Skillet and 1.5L Ceramic Cook Pot.

The new Fast Boil Systems are now available online at jetboil.com in the Flash 1.0L, Flash Java 1.0L and Zip 0.8L.
