The Arizona Hideaway Collection brings four resort and golf destinations under one brand — The Hermosa Inn, Tubac Golf Resort & Spa, Rancho Mañana Golf Club, and Sedona Golf Resort.
The Allred family has rejuvenated unique destinations for nearly five decades, from shaping Telluride into a global ski destination to restoring some of Arizona’s most iconic retreats. The family’s vision for the Arizona Hideaway Collection is rooted in maintaining the integrity of these properties while elevating them for today’s travelers.
“These properties have long been connected by ownership, vision and a dedication to hospitality,” said Mike Allred, president and CFO of The Arizona Hideaway Collection. “This brand strengthens those ties, making it easier for guests to experience everything these destinations have to offer while preserving the character that makes each one special.”
The collection of golf properties includes:
- The Hermosa Inn – Originally built in 1925 by cowboy artist Lon Megargee, this boutique retreat is located in Paradise Valley, closely set near Phoenix and Scottsdale. Travel + Leisure honored the property in 2024 as Arizona’s #1 Resort Hotel in the state. The inn features 43 secluded casitas, dining and event spaces.
- Tubac Golf Resort & Spa – Located on Otero Ranch, founded in 1752, this resort offers 98 hacienda-style accommodations, a 27-hole championship golf course, dining, full-service spa, and event venues. Named one of Historic Hotels of America’s Top 25 Most Historic Golf Courses, Tubac is set in a town recognized as one of the best small-town art scenes in the country, with easy access to hiking, birding, and outdoor exploration.
- Rancho Mañana Golf Club – A former 1940s dude ranch, Rancho Mañana is now a desert golf destination known for its elevation changes, Sonoran Desert views, and Southwestern atmosphere. Tonto Bar & Grill, housed in one of the original ranch buildings, is a top-rated dining venue in Arizona.
- Sedona Golf Resort – One of the most photographed golf courses in the U.S., this par-71 Gary Panks-designed course is framed by Sedona’s iconic red rock formations. It is a premier destination with some of the most scenic golf in the Southwest.
“Each of these properties offers something distinct, yet together they create a collection where travelers can find exactly what they’re looking for — world-class golf, fine dining, relaxation, exploration, or a place to gather,” said Bailey Preusse, VP of Marketing and Business Development, The Arizona Hideaway Collection.
