Global Defense, the U.S.-based importer, exporter and wholesale distributor of firearms, components, accessories, ammunition, and specialized equipment for commercial, military and law enforcement, has appointed François Cortes as the director of International Sales.
“With over 18 years of experience in international business development and sales management, François brings a wealth of defense and commercial knowledge to this role,” explained Global Defense CEO Jordan Young.
Before joining Global Defense, Cortes held senior positions at leading firearms and defense companies, where he expanded market share and established strategic partnerships across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. “His extensive background in international sales, combined with his proven ability to drive growth and deep understanding of the international defense market, makes him an invaluable addition to the Global Defense team,” said Young. “In addition, his intercultural expertise will be instrumental in driving our global expansion efforts and delivering unmatched value to our clients.”
As Director of International Sales, Cortes will lead the company’s efforts to expand its global presence by developing strategic sales initiatives, identifying emerging market opportunities and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.
