Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings, Inc., has named Jeff Dunn its new chief merchandising officer, effective immediately. Dunn will be responsible for the company’s merchandising, planning and private label development strategies.
“We are pleased to welcome Jeff as our new chief merchandising officer,” said Paul Stone, president and CEO of Sportsman’s Warehouse. “He brings decades of experience and a proven track record in driving strategic growth through innovative merchandising focused on the needs of the customer. As we continue to refine the experience for our outdoor enthusiasts, Jeff’s leadership will be instrumental in reshaping how we approach merchandising to deliver on our promise of Great Gear & Great Service.”
Dunn is “a proven leader with over 35 years of omni-channel merchandising and leadership experience,” said Sportsman’s Warehouse in a media release. “He has a strong track record of developing customer-focused merchandising strategies, aligning teams and building supplier relationships to drive results.
“Jeff spent 25 years in merchandising with Walmart/Sam’s Club, which included responsibility for buying, planning, replenishment, and product development in the categories of hunting, fishing, camping, sport shooting, exercise, and team sports. His addition reflects Sportsman’s Warehouse’s commitment to adding top-tier talent, driving innovation and an enhanced customer experience.”
Dunn was most recently chief merchandising officer at Galaxy Universal. Before, he served in various merchandising roles at Walmart over a 12-year years, including VP/DMM for Sporting Goods and VP/DMM for Footwear.

Dunn graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Communications. He also played Varsity Soccer for the Panthers on an athletic scholarship.
